If you haven’t used WhatsApp for your business, it is the right time to start!
Here are some reasons why:
To chat with your customers on WhatsApp, you will need to register your WhatsApp Business API and build a flow on BotHelp.
Let’s have a close look at how to build a chatbot in WhatsApp and integrate this messenger to your daily communication with customers.
First of of all, let us give you some ideas how you can use WhatsApp:
There is a few steps you need to follow to build your chatbot in WhatsApp:
If you don’t have a WhatsApp Business number yet, you will need to register it with 360dialog, an official API provider. You can find more details on how to do that here. The process takes up to several days so do it in advance.
As soon as you register your WABA and get your API, the next step is to add your WhatsApp channel to BotHelp platform.
Login to your BotHelp account - > Go to Settings
Choose Channels -> Add a New Channel.
Well done! Your WhatsApp number is connected to BotHelp and you can start building your flow. So, now we are moving to the next important step - building a flow map.
What is a flow map? This is a visualized plan of all possible scenarios your chatbot is going through. To build a proper scenario of your funnel, answer a few questions:
Answering these questions will help you to build a flow logic, make your chat with clients more effective and induce them to buy your product or service.
Before building a flow on BotHelp, we recommend making a flow map in any preferred mind map or even sketch it by hand. We use Miro, it’s a simple and convenient tool for building sales funnels and other processes.
Having a visual map of your funnel, you can easily and quickly transfer it to the BotHelp platform. A few lifehacks on creating a map:
Watch this video to see how we usually build a flow map.
Content is an essential part of your flow. As soon as you’ve designed the logic, think over all the dialogs with customers. Consider your tone of communication (formal or informal), sense of humor and so forth. For example, here you can find some ideas for the content of your chatbot and see how subscription to a chatbot works.
If your goal of communication is to introduce your products and induce new customers to buy it, give them something useful in exchange for their contact information or feedback. This can be anything you give away (free subscription, how-to guide etc), the so-called ‘lead magnets’ that will introduce your potential customer with your service and build trust between two of you.
After the flow map is ready, it is time to transfer your flow to BotHelp.
BotHelp is a no-code chatbot platform meaning you can have no technical background and build WhatsApp bot within just a few minutes. Let’s see how it works.
Go to ‘Flow’ section of the BotHelp platform.
Choose ‘New flow’ on the right top corner. Give a name to your flow and choose your WhatsApp channel.
Transfer your flow from your mind map to BotHelp. Add all messages, links and files step by step. Link messages to each other with connecting lines. Add conditions and delays if required. Read articles from our knowledge base or watch videos on YouTube channel to learn how conditions (go to the article, go to the video) and delays (video 1 and video 2) work.
Before you make your flow live, don’t forget to test it.
This feature allows you to go through your flow in a test mode. If something goes wrong, you can make changes in the flow and test again. As soon as the flow is correct, you can make it live.
Now you have your chatbot ready. The last step before you start collecting leads and chatting with your customers is to connect your flow with the mini-landing page or place a widget to your website.
The mini-landing page is one of the features of BotHelp. You can use this page in your ads or on social media to collect leads.
Another way to start chatting with your customers is via a widget on your website.
Both options are available in section ‘Growth Tools’
Choose New Tool and whichever option you prefer:
